sewing/craft group in weston super mare

I would really like to join a sewing group or general craft group but cant find one local to weston. Anyone know of one I would be really greatful for your help?

hiya have you found any yet, id be really interested too, i have found that the range have a fantastic arts and craft section, i went there last week i could have spent the entire day in there lol

Try looking in local community halls notice boards they may have a group. Our village hall at Othery, between Taunton and glastonbury (maybe too far although you are very welcome to come) meets every 1st and 3rd mondays and everyone works on their own UFOs (unfinished objects) and shares ideas. After yesterdays session a lot of us are going to find old jumpers and renew them by embellishing them having seen how easy one lady made it seem! I know other halls do this as I go to one in Long Sutton too. we just pay for the hall and electric so it works out at about £1 a session.
there is also a sewing group called sowy stitch which meets monthly in Othery Village hall. They are very friendly and have a blog its run by Pam Martin

Jobocrafts also do card making class Thursday evening 7pm to 10pm ( ends upoften finishing later as we often have a giggle while we are there) Also craft weekend near Bristol, may 18th 29th & 20th.. i think there are pone or maybe 2 spaces left
