Morning all,
This is my first post so hope its in the right place?? Apologies if it isnt.
Anyways have just had my weekly coop newletter/offer thing in the post and noticed that from 13th to 26th they have 9 packs of 3 ply quilted velvet for £3.
Hope this may help someone? I only ever buy my loo roll when its on offer as i cant face paying £6 for some lol

thats a great offerlife is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0

Be careful with these - bought some in poundland last week and noticed that they were only 200 sheets per roll= 17p per 100 sheets, same as Coop offer. Anything less than about14p per 100 sheets is a bargain.Moral of the story? a bargain isnt always a bargain.0

Try Nicky from Farmfoods - £2 for 9 3-ply rolls.0

This blocked my drains a couple of years ago, I've seen other posts on here somewhere about other people having a similar problem.
£150 call out charge would have bought a lot of non offer loo rolls.0 -
Today I bought 16 Velvet triple layer rolls for £5 at Morrisons. It's about 31p 1 roll. Each has 200 sheets per roll. Considering that value rolls there are £1.20 for 4 I think it's a nice bargin:).If you feel my post has been useful, " merci" would not go amiss.

why dontIi listen to my own advice - just bought 2 packs of tescos bog roll, special offer 12 for the price of 9 @3.99 per pack 13p per 100 sheets. The trouble is its rubbish.Haven't tried it yet but will give it a good test tomorrow morning and report back!!0

I'm careful what I use now because I find quilted loo paper is bad for the plumbing. I live in an old house with metal pipes, maybe other people with newer pipes have less trouble, but it's still pretty clear that it doesn't break down very quickly. If I blow my nose with a bit of quilted loo paper and drop it in the toilet it will still be there and entirely intact the next day, so I imagine any that collects in the plumbing and the big square drain outside doesn't break down very easily either.
Co-op own brand has been fine though, it's not flimsy paper but it does break down easily enough in water. I tend to stock up on this during offers. Anything made from recycled paper seems ok too. Aside from the cost of a plumber, a broken toilet is bad when you only have one in the house.0 -
