    There is other stuff in there - and the alcohol will probably still be there in six months' time - but unless I have to go out and do a full shop, they're the only three things which are pretty much always available. If I do a shop, there will be cucumber, spring onion, carrots, eggs, cheese, butter, ham and set plain yoghurt/plain fromage frais/some sweet yoghurts for DD in there. Plus whatever veg I have that isn't from the garden, and perhaps some fruit if it won't keep left out.

    But I keep open jars in the fridge - partly because there's obviously enough room in there, but partly because it makes finding a furry jar less likely.
