new dvd rewriter drive req

hello everybody! my cdrw combo/dvd rom drive has gone can any one suggest a replacement that has a dvd rewriter & software bundled with it . i am using win98se thanks in anticipation.

first, i would get on XP at least

second, look at the Pioneer A07 or the NEC 2510,

make sure you order a retail version of the drive , not the OEM, (you said you needed software - none with OEM)

look at paying £60 - £70 for the retail versions, if you can find them

Just bought a pioneer DV108 from https://www.rambox.co.uk - cheapest that I could find. Very fast delivery for £4.99. Not brilliantly packed but very well protected. I was very impressed.

It was a toss up between that and the NEC3500. As my last drive was NEC and has only lasted about 18 months I thought it time for a change.

If searching - have a look for blank DVDs as most of these places also sell hardware and don't appear on search engines.
