new year soon..what d f resolution are you going to make ?

i came accross mse in feb.... and havent looked back... have saved loads of money with the usefull tips ....suggestions...... etc...

but i must admit....i do let things slide... some times.....so

i am going to make a new years resolution.....well a few actually.....

totally knuckle down... with my debts.... and pick one and put it in the financial firing line ...and just throw every spare penny at it...until its gone......

also try and keep on top of my council tax..... as when i am short....this is the bill that seems to get left.. and before you know it.. i got to pay the whole amount.....( might try and pay this off by summer )

.....teach/ show...... at least one person that i know.... the true meaning of mse..... and to not just read the weekly emails...... but to read the diff forums......AND..... to think slightly out of the box.... so to speak.... to find... and take full advantage of loopholes....loyalty cards etc.......

so what would be your mse resolution... for the new year..?

I am going to set small goal for myself every month.
1- Try to make £50 a month on ebay sales.
2-Make sure i dont miss one piggypoint to get those vouchers for next xmas.
3-Stay in the black on my rent account, it is almost back in the black, and intend to keep it this way.
4-Stick to food budget since it has saved my££££££££££ this year cooking from scratch.
5-If i dont NEED it we dont have it.
6- Cash all the way, no cheques/credit cards.

I have now been on dmp since feb, and hope to cut the debts big time this year, every spare penny is going at them!!

I'm just going to knuckle down, stick to my budgets and slash my grocery shopping bill even further. This year I intend to be a lot stricter with myself and look after the pennies as the small changes really do help.

    1. Try not fritter it away buying things I don't need, probably don't want and can't afford.
    2. Chuck whatever I can at the mortgage.
    3. Spend cash not cards.
    4. Spend less time in the shops and more time learning from this board.
    5. Make concerted effort with eBay stuff that is cluttering up my house.

Coupons are the way as is meal planning! Good luck with that one... it is fun (in an MSE nerdy kinda of way) when you hand over a coupon wondering if it will be accepted or declined... my life is thrilling can't you tell?!!!!
