DMP - No hassle from creditors...yet...

Hi guys,
I made my first payment to Payplan on the 1st July, I have 7 accounts with 6 creditors.
I had prepared myself for a barrage of calls and letters as soon as my accounts went in to arrears, but I have had absolutely nothing.
I had been paying in full right up until I started my DMP, so I assumed it would take a few weeks for them to start chasing me, but I am surprised I have had nothing.
My last personal loan payment was due on 23rd June, and last year when I was late with one payment, they called me constantly about 3 times a day from the day it was due until I paid it.
The only thing I've had is a letter from Halifax advising I am now over my agreed overdraft limit and they will charge me £5 per day, but when I check my online banking, no charges have been added.
I don't want to sound stupid, as I am really releived that I haven't been hassled, and know that it may just be the calm before the storm, but is this a good sign that my creditors will accept my payment plan?
Many thanks
Vicky

Sounds pretty promising vixx. Though it will have taken payplan a few days to send the money out to creditors so they may have only received the letter and reduced payment towards the end of last week.
Hope it continues to go as well for you. It might be that you will get some calls over the next couple of weeks or so but just be firm with them and refer them to payplan.

Hi Vix - great news on the DMP front and well done for getting started in the first place.
I'm with Halifax and they are part of my DMP too. If they've sent you a letter saying they will charge you £5 a day, they will. The only thing is they will only send you a letter sometime in the month to confirm you total charges to that date and when they will be applied. I get charged £1 a day for using my overdraft, of which all the charges get added on the 1st of the month so be careful.
Sounds like you're having great success so far but speak to payplan should you think you may be caught out somewhere.0
