Our florist has quoted for balloons and they seem rather expensive for him to provide...

You could even tie them to your teapots for your table numbers!! (And paint the table numbers onto the teapots!)
Sorry lol that doesn't answer your question.
You can buy helium canisters. My rough googling when I was umming and ahhing whether to have helium or air filled balloons, shows they are roughly £1 per balloons worth of helium. As for the balloons they are relatively cheap - I bought 100 balloons for just over £5.0 -
Try googling tescoparty, they have their own website. You may be able to find an idea of price from there.:T0

Mrs Drink - we've got 2 seperate rooms at our venue - the conservatory for afternoon tea after the ceremony and then we move to a bigger room for our evening party - luckily we can have two individual themes!! although the evening reception is purely 3 x balloons on tables with scattered crystals :-)
will check out tesco party thank you!!0 -
Oh wow - that sounds fab!! Love the idea of having separate identities to your afternoon and evening receptions!!

We are having a similar theme, tea party out in a marquee for the afternoon then inside more traditional wedding decor in the evening. I'm currently torn between candles or balloons for the tables. Thinking we'll probably do candles on the tables and helium balloons round the outskirts of the room. We'll probably buy the balloons and a helium canister.0

Card Factory do these shimmer weights for 49p each- saves the hassle of making them and the possiblity of them coming apart in transit.lovin' this site!

hello... thats my center pieces your on about!
we bought the champagne weights from the range (with a discount though as OH works there) we bought all the balloons off ebay and we searched everywhere for the cheapest way to get the helium,
we ended up hiring a balloon woman to come to the venue in the morning and do it all for us, and she knocked money off her normal prices because we had all the stuff already,
she also did us some displays and an arch for the cake table for just over £100 all in0
