In light of a continued collapse in house building, a possible immigration surge in the new year, and ultra-low interest rates set to remain the norm for a long time yet, 5% HPI in 2012, 2013 and 2014 is actually quite moderate, esp if RPI inflation remains high.

Opps you forgot that 100% mortgages and liar loans have gone. And you also forgot that FTB aren't buying.

The only reason why house prices increased so rapidly of course.

Well I mean there is an ongoing structural shortage of supply in the UK, but we'll ignore that as that's not a buzzword.

The full time median wage for Leicestershire is £26k the 30% percentile is £20k so would you need a liar loan to buy that house

I think the ommission of this and the parroting of "100% mortgages and liar loans" says enough.

    Has it sold?

To me I would read that as they are happy to accept £87950 but keep getting offers below, so if you put the price to £99000 offers might actually offers that they are happy with (or no offers).
