super savvy me coupon usage - advice needed

Just wondered if anyone could advise me please
I am new to this coupon malarkey but could easily become addicted lol
I have printed some off SSM for example '£1 off any Ariel gel, powder or liquitabs' and it doesnt say anywhere 'only one coupon per transaction/item' so just wondered if I could use more than 1 per item? Anybody done this?
Don't fancy the embarrasment at the checkout if I can help it, its bad enought the way they scrutinise them and make such a point of checking you have bought the right item!

TIA
claire x

as long as it doesn't say one per transaction and you buy 1 item for each same coupon then its ok to use 2 or more in one shop

    Hi,
Yes you can use many coupons in one go, I usually do. It depends on the cashier if they check for the right item

Sorry to hijack this thread, but have just got back from 11 days in Majorca to find both the coupon threads are closed. Havent had enough time to study all the posts but can see there has been a poster posting the misuse of coupons. Please, what is going on and is there going to be a new coupon thread.

Not got any to hand, but I thought they stated one per purchase.

I wouldn't use any more than that personally, but I would use two if I had purchased two of the said item, even if on a BOGOF offer.

Do NOT use photocopies of SSM coupons but you can print two from each PC.

i think you might have answered my question if it to do with which pc you use.

i registered on ssm and printed 2 coupons when possible, then i registered my daughter to get a couple more but was still saying you reached your limit before i had printed anymore. does it recognise your pc or internet connection or something?
