uungy wrote:just be very careful with debenhams - they only EVER do exchanges on any item bought in the sale - NO REFUNDS - so if it doesnt fit and there are limited sizes in the sale - only an exchange!! - what sort of company is that nowadays!!??!!
They are under no obligation to refund if the goods are not faulty. Buy the right size and try it on in the fitting rooms and then there won't be any need to take it back. I love Debenhams sales great value and quality.
Managed to get on Debenhams online early this morning and bought loads - used discount codes and they kindly gave an extra 20% off. Was well pleased.
Following my online shopping I went to Lakeside and did another big shop in Debenhams.
Nothing will be going back for a refund.
My daughter bought John Rocha jeans £45 down to £20
John Rocha jacket down from £40 to £20
Numerous tops from John Rocha, Jasper Conran etc all half price or less.
I bought one of the £15 jackets too.
Also wraps which were down from £25-£30 to £4.50
Sheets and pillowcases which were half price.
Zara - my daughter bought shoes down from £50 to £15
Top down from £29.99 to £9
House of Fraser - various christmas cards half price.0 -
My best sale buy has to be a pure cashmere jumper from NEXT - reduced from £65 to £15! I was lucky enough to get a V.I.P. slot for the online sale. They obviously didn't sell too many at the original price!0

I went to MFI with £500 vouchers courtesy of tesco deals. We had planned what we wanted on the site- a wardrobe costing £364 and some fancy bits for inside. Got there and it turned out the wardrobe is not standard size so couldnt buy the fancy bits i wanted so went for a set of shelves for inside - £30. The SA got a bit confused on her laptop - first sale during the new sale and knocked the 20% off not realising it already was so got the lot for £303 - woohoo! So have £200 of vouchers and have deiced to go back tomorrow to gt the matching bedside cabinets and drawers- will cost me £50 on top, but very happy to!
Matalan was great. £1 rales for kids clothes. Fluffy giant bath sheets that match the bathroom down to £3.75 and 3 flannels for 67p. Egyptian cotten fitted sheet for £4 and pillowcases for £2. DH got jeans down to £15 and a few more other bits that matched the decor!
Brantano footwear 50% off. My boys needed new shoes and got some very cute clarks for £9 and some others for £8.
Wanted to go in to toen but kids were playing up in these out of town stores so gave up.0
