Anyone use copic pens? Anyone use them to colour tildas?

I love my tilda stamps and have just bought another load of stamps.
Looking through blogs i see alot of tildas coloured in with copic pens and they look really professionally coloured.
If anyone uses copics can you suggest colours for colouring in tilda faces and how to use pens and colour in stamped images
Sorry not asking alot am i...lol
I haven't a clue really how to colour in stamped images without them being all one shade...lol

I havent tried copic pens but have promarkers. They do a set of skin tone pens I think there was 5 in the pack. My local craft shop advised buying blush and ivory and even tried them on a scrap of paper to let me see the colours together.

I can recommend a blog for you to look at if you are thinking of buying copics. Caz does some beautiful work with copics, and although I don't think she colours many Tildas these days, she has in the past. If you have a look here http://aloadofoldblogocks.blogspot.com/ and then click on Magnolias down the right hand side, she has loads of examples. She also lists what colours she uses for each image that she colours.

I love my copics and I took ages to decide whether to buy them or promarkers. They do initially cost more than promarkers, but they can be refilled (even the copic ciaos) which ultimately saves you money. There are quite a few blogs that show you how to use them and also youtube is full of tutorials. If you get stuck, let me know and I can point you in the direction of some fantastic tutorials.

I have both promarkers and copics and I prefer my copics over the promarkers. I coloured in this Tilda last week and the pens I used are listed below.

    Skin - E21, E00, E000, R20

Personally in comparison, the promarkers are a much more brighter peacher skin tone than the copics and I find the copics are a little more realisitc, but that is personal preference.
