:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:oh dear. Someone didn't actually read the post they were complimenting did they.
Exquisite Hypocricy or stunning lack of self awareness.
Either way, quite delicious.
Gosh, I wish I were as clever as you think you are! Are you quite sure you know what you mean by self awareness?0 -

Back in the good old days oh HPC, many of the bears agreed that possibly the worst outcome for them was stagnation (ie real falls), as in such a situation, as you may as well just have got a mortgage asap, rather than moping around on forums - they were waiting for the big nominal correction.
Now it seems, history seems to be being rewritten to the point where housing falls in inflation adjusted terms are some kind of 'great victory'.. which is a little odd as it doesn't really benefit anyone waiting to buy to much of a degree.
You can almost smell the anger now - many of them have devoted many hours a week to posting about the big HPC, only to find that 6 or 7 years down the line, they would have been far better off buying.
"6 or 7 years down the line". Ah you have to love the old bullsheet timing game.
Global economic armageddon. House price crashs to a similar level at a significantly quicker rate that the last one.
Never mind, as houses only ever go up...."long term". :rotfl:
Ol' Heathcote has more reasons than most to be bitter of course.
He was a card carrying bear back in 2003. Then bottled it and bought months from peak in 2007. Though of course he only bought half a house, rents the other half. No wonder he's conflicted.0 -

You dropped a clanger Robmatic and you know it.
Transpires that old JulieQ was up to exactly the antics you were endevouring to admonish.
So which are you.
Hypocrite or idiot?0 -

I'm not sure that JulieQ's ad hominem attack is exactly the same as the 'Yay bulls win' method of playground debate, but hey ho, I guess my lack of self awareness is a bit of a handicap when it comes to that sort of judgement.0 -

Let us not forget that some of these people are not or never will be in a postition to buy.
Granted some sold their houses to rent and took a gamble. They will lose a shedload of money but at least they are in the game.
I truely believe most of the so called 'bears' on HPC have no means to buy a house. They are low achievers just wishing bad on their neighbours.
I expect most HPC people have suffered divorce, low paid jobs, drug or drink issues or are just plain lazy.
At the end of the day who cares about them?
I don't and am happy to let their rent pay for my retirement. :rotfl:We love Sarah O Grady0 -

Have you any proof to back up your claims?
You say you dont care about them yet most days you come on here and post about them.0
