  • If your going to buy something that your continuously going to use i.e. toothpaste, toilet roll, shaving ge, razors etc... and if these are on sale, stock up!
  • other good way to compare prices is let your wife go shopping and when she finds anything to check she can phone home for a full price check

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
  • I work at JJB and most of the time we get stuff in that says 70% off as soon as it comes in (although having said that some really are bargins) REAL sale stuff has orange 'price gun' stickers next to the original price! we do have some good stuff at the moment (sale started last sunday) where the 50% etc stuff has gone down again ie - rrp £34.99 reebok element Zip Sweat came in at £17.49 - and has now been reduced to £12.24!
but usually shops including ours dont make big reductions till after new year when we go quiet again cos everyone is back at school and work, say about the 4th january!

Next = Overpriced overhyped unbranded goods!

There Kids clothes are very good value in the Sale,T Shirts for £2 , trousers for £3, they are good quality and always wash and wear well , i prefer my child not to advertise "Brands" it dosent make them better with a logo on the front !

Agree about the Adult items tho a bit hit and miss alot of the time
