sewdirect.com buy one get 2 free

for all of you fellow dressmakers out there, sewdirect are offering buy one get 2 free on their patterns for members until the end of the weekend. there are different membership options so have a look and see if you think it is worth it- basically due to the full price of patterns especially vogue ones, its worth doing if you buy more than a couple of patterns a year (especially if you do the internet only membership which is a little cheaper). the magazine isnt up to much so i changed my membership to net only and take advantage of the offers on there. got some great vintage patterns! hope this helps someone :)

Sales, boots, charity shops, ebay- why would anyone ever pay full price for anything??!

Burda style magazine is good for patterns you get least 20 maybe even 40 every month of around £4.75.

Hello thanks for this. If i'm reading right, I can subscribe for £7.50 by direct debit, which would come out every three months? If I do so, I get patterns at members discount price, then I can buy 1 get 2 free. So if a pattern is £5 members price, I pay £5 for three patterns, plus the £7.50 for the membership?

    Is that correct?
  • Hi Luvliss, that sounds about right to me- i think if the prices are different you will have to pay for the highest priced one as usually applies with these sorts of offers! best thing to do is to add what you want to the trolley and go through to checkout and it should tell you what your total price is before you have to enter any details for paying so you can go back and change it all if need be! hope that helps, i'm currently up to 8 patterns in my trolley (i have no restraint when it comes to vintage patterns!!). :)
