But i do know they have nothing to do with cahoot (yet)
you may well be right it was a credit card application. I just assumed that if MBNA were the underwriters for the CC then they would deal with all abbey stuff0 -
Aha, right ya are then. MBNA do issue the CC, but not the loan (just looked at Abbey website too) .... I Actually want out of there in new year, Probably in Feb (cos we are supposedly getting a £1200 bonus) Anyone wanna offer me a £16K a year job??No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

A 'Cynic' might be forgiven for thinking that they are no longer interested in the 'high-risk' loans market, yet happy to have other people's savings. How will they make their money?I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Abbey are the country's second biggest mortgage lender, so they can lend the funds out that way.
I wouldn't be suprised to see the Cahoot brand vanish completely this year, with all accounts being transferred to Abbey. A chunk of the back office work is done by Abbey now already.Amazon sellers club - member number 63.
January challange - sell 10 items. 0 down, 10 to go!0 -
The only problem with that is Abbey dont issue their own CC, MBNA do, will MBNA be willing just take "takeover" these accounts? And what about those customers that already have 1 or 2 (maybe even more) MBNA accounts? Doubt they would take these on...No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
