Hey dudes and dudettes,
Anybody got experience of haggling discounts in richer sounds? Seen a 3D TV for about 550 on the site and wondering if I can get it cheaper by going in store and working magic!
Thanks in advance

No harm in trying, the worst they can do is say no. Just beware that they may not have the one you want in store. To be honest, when we were TV hunting, we were rather disappointed by the number of large TVs they had in store, and we went to one of the bigger ones, and they did not have the TV we went there for. Just as well, cos we ended up with a better one from Makro! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I live near a makro Jane but worry about the VAT they add LATER on! What was the deal you got and when did u buy?! Richersounds have the cheapest prices I've seen so far0

We got a Samsung PS43D490 for £480 - don't thing Richer Sounds do that one.
It is very easy to calculate the VAT in Makro - just add on 20%, £400 would be an extra £80. They sell to businesses, that is why they price things without VAT, it is common practice among wholesalers. Oh, and you need a Makro card to shop there! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Is it 3D?! We reallly want a 3D TV!
Guess what? I'm a member! Been a member for years, there's one in acton near me but didn't think they'd be cheaper than richer sounds!0 -
Hi, generally speaking Makro are not cheaper, its only the fortnightly offers that are in the brochures that can sometimes be cheaper.0

It is 3D - does not come with the glasses though - we bought it because it was cheaper than the equivalent 2D at the time. It is on offer in Makro again for the same price starting Wed 13th July - great telly! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Sounds good! I feel sooo stupid because I assumed when you get a 3D TV you can just use those free glasses you get at the cinema! Now I've heard you need glasses that are compatible with your telly which sometimes cost up to £99.99!
Hmmm...not sure now...!0 -
Might be worth you visiting Tesco if you want that one - our local (albeit an Extra) has an offer on, that TV, two pairs of glasses and a blu-ray player, all for under £600!!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
