2 jobs tax etc

Hi I currently work at a fast food chain full time, but I am starting a new job full time.

I want to go part time at the fast food 1 or 2 shifts a week. Would there be any implications in doing this with tax or anything?

You're not going to leave job 1 then you won't get a P45 so when you start job 2 you'll need to fill out a P46 form.

You can ask the HMRC either to apply your personal allowance (the amount you can earn over the year without paying income tax) to your main job or split it over both jobs.

If you're only planning on doing a shift or two at job 1 I suggest that you tell the HMRC that job 2 is your main job so you would like the whole of your personal allowance to be applied to this job.
