NHS Pension Additional Payments - yes or no?

I have personally found the NHSBA web information somewhat lacking in detail.
As i have already stated you need to talk to your Pensions Officer as they will know more about this and certainly know more than anybody that doesn't work in that department.
My pensions officer has said that if you want to increase your pension benefits since the introduction of the 2008 section then you have to change.0 -

I'm in the 1995 section and have been buying added years for a few years now. I've also just bought additional pension by lump sum and am doing so by regular payments. I've not changed to the 2008 section, I'm still in the 1995. No need to change.£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190 -
bigjl is mistaken. You can buy additional pension (AP) in the 1995 section also0
