Getting a loan?

Hi,
Me and my partner are looking to get a loan between £2000 - £2500, in order to get a newer car and do a few personal bits.

The problem we are facing is none of us have ever had a loan or credit so our scores are not bad however nothing exists to be able to get one from our banks?

Where would be the best place to go in order to get a loan with lower interest rates and not stuck in a downhill spiral from lending agencies that will have us in debt forever.

PS any places to steer clear of, would be really grateful for any recommendations or suggestions.

Without Knowing your credit status - I would think you will need to provide more information for someone to help access your situation

Have you no credit record at all? eg contract phones? any entries on your credit files from utilities, broadband, or similar?
Have you checked your credit files? are you on the electoral roll?
