Cost of living increase

Options
Hi
I work for a private company and everyone is getting a cost of living allowance except my department . The reason we have been given is that we work in sales and earn commission . We have been enjoying a heathy commission because we have been achieveing our target , However i have just find out another department who is lick to commsion is getting a pay rise because they havent been doing well . I think we are being penalise for doing well and do feel like its a discrimation . Does anyone know if Legally I am correct ?
Its not just a money issue just also the principal

It's not discrimination in the legal sense.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

3 year pay-freeze for me, plus increase in rent/life generally and IVA company not willing to reduce payments :(.

I'm sorry for what has happened to you and your colleagues, Kamila - I can well understand why you are feeling disgruntled, especially as you are achieving your targets. Are any of you in a Union? You could have a look at the ACAS website - that might have some useful advice. Here's a link to their site: http://www.acas.org.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1461.

I wish you lots of luck. x

Certainly not discrimination I'm afraid. It may well be "unfair", but that is an entirely subjective term and means nothing in a court of law!
I am developing a community of likeminded people with a common goal - to build sustainable and scalable online incomes.
