All the DVD players are for the UK set to region 2 by default (and hence the packaging states this). They are then converted to multi-regional here in the UK. Occasionally, if a DVD player has not been powered up for an extended length of time, it "forgets" its multi-regional status. To make it multi-regional once more do the following:
    1. Power up machine
    2. Ensure no disc is in machine
    3. Press “enter” ("setup" on some models) on remote
    4. Key in “92100” on remote
    5. Press “enter”
    6. You should now receive a message that states “0 regions” or similar
    7. Your unit is now multi-regional
Looking to raise some money ;)

I bought one of these before christmas, i previously owned the umax chilli player and had a lot of issues with xvid dvds being out of sync. this nortek player is very good, alot easier to mess around with the settings if things are out of sync etc. bought it from this place alos, took around three days for delivery, and I think its looks quite nice to.
