Does maintenance stop when child benefit ends after they are 19 or when they are 19

Does maintenance stop when my daughter is 19 yrs old, or as she is at college does it stop when child benefit stops.
She is 19 in July and child benefit stops in September
I have contacted two different CSA departments, 1 states birthday, the other states when child benefit stops.
My daughter has been stopped from being a percentage off towards my partners payments to his ex, but yet I am still receiving maintenance for her until child benefit stops in September.
Both CSA departments are adamant they are right, but both say different.
Please advise as I do not want money I am not entitled to, also if it is legally mine, then we are entitled to my daughter being a percentage off my partners maintenance to his ex.
confused!! and I need concrete info to inform the right department they are wrong!

When my sister enquired about this she was told that CSA payments (and child benefit) continued until the first Monday in September after the child left full time non-advanced education, but that the payments would cease in any event on her 19th birthday (ie if she was still in education at that point).
The info here http://forum.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=2780796 might also helpI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

Whichever department is telling you that it would continue past the 19th birthday is giving you duff info!
Between 16 and 19 the CSA will usually look at child benefit to decide whether the child still technically qualifies as a child for the case purposes, however once they turn 19 the ongoing liability stops. If there are arrears then the case may continue until they're all paid off, however the regular maintenance would cease.0 -
Thank you,
I tried through CSA for 6 yrs to get maintenance, I complained through out and got nowhere.
My partner went through CSA with his ex, I told his CSA I was getting nowhere with my own, the CSA then telephoned my CSA and it was then investigated, it seems that there was an error on the system, computer fault mmm. So, the CSA decided that as they had NOT contacted my ex he did not have to pay 6yrs back pay, however they gave me compensation £1000 this was a smidgen of 6yrs worth.
The CSA worked out what I should get from when they found it was their fault, it meant I only had him pay me for my daughter for the remaining 6 months when my daughter turned 19 yrs old. He has got away Scott free!
I got a further payment and telephoned CSA, They said regardless of my daughters age, he still has to pay until family allowance stops. There are no arrears.
Again I have phoned CSA and they are adamant he has to pay while she is getting child benefit.
I telephoned the help line, they say he does not pay if there are no arrears, so I have given the money back to my ex as CSA must be wrong if every one else, even my partners CSA department is saying he doesn't pay.0 -

Why did you do that???
I would have waited at least until the CSA contacted me and advised me of an overpayment!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
I do not want it on my conscience! I have looked every where and I clearly am not entitled.0
