Will my chances be less depending on what time I apply for a job?

ie I am often looking for work at 11pm -3 in the morning, as often I cannot sleep
however for the jobs that are an online application I normally wait untill the next day to apply as I think it may be looked at badly by the potential employer if I apply in the middle of the night
Is there any substance in this? As timewise it would be alot more productive to apply there and then

i dont think it matters to be honest plus if you aply at night theres a high chance your application will be there when they first log in next dayReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -
I cant see the time having an affect, just remember to spell check etc0

I think you are over analysing it.
You could have an arguement that day of week has a bigger impact because if a manager sets aside 30 mins a day to review every CV he's received the more he has in a day the less time each one gets and so Monday's he has to get through more because of the weekends.
That has to be balanced off against the fact that post deal with things as they come in and have an idea in their head of how many interviews they want to do. If there is 1 job going I would generally set up 4 interviews. Once I've hit that number I generally stop reading CVs until I've gone through that first round of interviews unless I am told there is someone exceptional from an agent I trust the judgement of (which there arent many).
Apply as soon as you can, dont worry about the time0
