Freelance part time journalist - what can I claim for?

Evening all,

I'm a freelance journalist and I work from home on a part time basis. I have a full time job which I pay tax and NI through in the normal manner and my writing runs alongside this.

I'm trying to find out if I will be able to claim tax relief on expenses I incur such as meals, drinks, cinema tickets etc as I write for a London website which requires me to review restaurants and other places of leisure and of course this costs me, but it is an essential part of the job.

Does anyone have any idea if it would be possible for me to claim if I keep the receipts?

Thanks

Lisa
