Want to find something that will keep the flies/bugs out whilst we're in this hot weather, but am not sure whether to get a beaded one or something similar to hang over my back door leading into the kitchen. I would still want the air to circulate around the room so would a beaded one allow that, and whether those flimsy plastic ribbon-y ones keep those flies out if it's a windy day still?

never bought one before, so am not sure what the best thing is - plastic ribbons (tho' these look a bit cheap), beaded, chain or whatever else curtains are made of? can anyone advise pls?
:beer::beer:
thanks in advance

ps. also, wondered about getting something to cover my windows to stop the mozzies/midges coming in at night. like mesh type of fabric... can anyone advise on the cheapest source pls, thanks.

    I have a plastic ribbon door curtain and i must admit its not as good as a curtain i made from voile . I just bought a piece , hemmed it at the top and hung a pole through it ! lol

    I went in my local branch of Aldi yesterday and they had a massive stack of fly curtains for doors. They were first put on offer a couple of weeks ago but I should imagine that most stores will still have them in stock. They cost £3.99.
