The Big Breach - free.........for now!

http://cryptome.sabotage.org/bigbreach-posts.htm

Use the cryptome mirrors, the other sites have been got at by MI6.

The first insider's account of MI6 exposes:

MI6's espionage against France, Germany and other European countries.
MI6's disregard for the civil rights of the British public and its own employees.
MI6's routine use of the media, non-governmental organisations and the United Nations as covers for spying.

Richard Tomlinson was recruited initially by MI6, the British foreign intelligence service, during his senior year at Cambridge University. After joining, he quickly gained the trust and confidence of one of the world's most effective intelligence organisations. He was relied on to smuggle nuclear secrets out of Moscow, to run an undercover operation in Sarajevo while the city was under siege, and to infiltrate and dismantle a criminal group that sought to export chemical weapons capabilities to Iran.

Four years after joining MI6, Tomlinson's career was abruptly terminated for reasons that are still not clear. When he tried to fight his unjust dismissal, he was arrested for breaking the notorious Official Secrets Act and jailed in one of Britain's toughest maximum-security prisons.

Following his release MI6 continued to hound Tomlinson, launching a smear campaign in the international press and pressuring its allies around the world to arrest and expel him.

The British intelligence service has used threats of legal action to force publishers in several European countries to abandon plans to publish this book.

Whether you believe it or not, it's a fascinating read and it's free.

    Everbody says your paranoid
A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent,
the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.
  • it has been free for years, and i imagine always will be.
good book, i read it years ago, and would recommend.

Indeed, except MI6 keep closing down the sites where it's hosted, so it's getting harder and harder to get a copy.

They have given up on this I would think. It is a good read though. He doesn't get any money from the sales of it, his share is held in an account somewhere, he had to sign over the rights or something.

However his new *draft* book is another matter. They recently raided his house in france and took his computers that contained the book to find out what it contained. To get the warrant they told the french they suspected him of publishing those list of mi6 officers on the internet an allegation they had made before. They then took him to court in france over the book but they lost the case. He's since got his computers back smashed. Did mi6 smash them, the courier or tomlinson? who knows. Perhaps it's related to what he said on the death of princess diana?

His blog is a real life spy drama being played out.

He wants to be allowed to come back to the UK and become a writer I believe.

Wouldn't you think by now that both security services (ours and theirs) would have learned never to deal with or employ ANYONE who went to Cambridge. It seems that all the worst spies go there, so why not make a change and recruit from Manchester or Aston or somewhere for a change???

  • There was a Radio 1 interview with 2 MI6/SIS 'spies' not long ago, they did say things had changed and it was no longer limited to a tap on the shoulder to work there now. They also said they don't bump people off, Tomlinson famously said he saw plans to bump off President Milosevic. 'Operation paget' has said that plan was to bump off someone else made by someone junior. Apparently there are to be 'questions in the house' about this and why he thought he could suggest such a contingency. John Scarlett is in charge there now, he was largely responsible for the iraq wmd dossier, oh dear.

Personally I wouldn't ever say "your paranoid", I'm much more likely to say "you're paranoid".
