4 OD, why doesn't it work ?

I am really hoping some kind soul can help me as this is driving me mad.

I don't have a telly so watch some things online during the week and yesterday I went to watch Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmares and it just will not play.

I have watched the Apprentice on Iplayer no problems and youtube etc all work as they should but 4OD is just not having a bit of it.

I am not getting an error message or anything pop up and my Adobe is up to date, I have tried it with firefox and IE but neither are playing the show.
I get the normal box with the fixed picture and "play" I then get the normal warning of being over 16 accept / decline
When I accept it goes back to the play screen but nothing happens, just a black screen.

I really don't understand what I am doing wrong and the help section doesn't help at all.

Any ideas ?

Nope..Still got nothing but the black screen.
It says "now playing" but there is no picture or sound. Nothing is happening at all.

In a browser, click tools, options and clear cookies and history, close the browser and try again

CCleaner will do that for you

Keep any cookies which have log in info

seeing this thread reminded me I need to catch up with something so I looked and its not working for me either.

I'm using firefox to, maybe its channel 4's problem.

When I updated to version 5 it wouldn't play things

dogmary : what ever was on that page / link I get nothing but a white screen with 4OD in the left hand corner.

I cleared my cookies twice trying to get this stupid thing to work..

Iplayer is fine which makes me wonder if it is something in 4OD that my computer does not like or firefox is blocking but can't see what.
