They do mate.
I occasionally buy one (well hand over newspaper vouchers anyway) in Derby.
You might need to try the larger newsagent's shops though.
Mine usually do not put them on very prominent display like the English nationals.
I'd suggest you ask.
However, having said all that, the distribution of the Daily Record in England is handled differently and often the DVDs or CDs are not included.
Often the front cover is printed without the DVD/CD offer on it.
BUT you may still be able to get the DVD or CD.
Often a phone call to their freephone number is all that is required and they will pop one in the post to you.
It was suggested to me the other day when I phoned up that in the very near future, whereas in Scotland the freebie would normally be inside the newspaper, for English buyers they will need to send a SSAE to "collect it"There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

The message in last week's paper about the Still Game dvd said to see your newsagent if it was missing so I doubt that'd work. They include the dvd in a poly pag with their tv guide so therefore don't expect them to become detached.
P.S. The news is that a NEW series of Rab C. is on the cards depending on the go ahead from the Beeb.0 -

As it happened there was some problem with the Still Game not being included in most of the papers on sale. The Record website had information bulletin and an "emergency" number (actually the standard 0800) to call if yours was missing
I called on Saturday and said that mine didn't have one (even though it should NOT have had one since I bought mine in ENGLAND) , gave them my address in England and it turned up on Wednesday.
The previous Saturday edition should have had The 39 Steps DVD included (in Scotland at least) The English edition did not have this free offer flashed on the front cover, unlike the Scottish issue, although it was mentioned "in passing" on the inside.
It also referred to the next day's Sunday Record having an episode of Taggart as a freebie.
I called the customer service desk (again giving my ENGLISH address) and they said that they would post me the 39 Steps DVD.
I mentioned Taggart and the guy said, whilst the Taggart DVD was actually INCLUDED within the Sunday paper in Scotland, it was a send away offer in England - send the application form with a 60p stamped SAE.
I said no problem, I'd send for one.
2 days later an envelope arrived and I pulled out the 39 Steps DVD.
However there was still something in the envelope.
Tipped it up and out fell a copy of Taggart.
Now that's what I call service !!!!!There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93
