A Small confession

Hi gang, merry Christmas to everyone. Being on this site has transformed my life and I am VERY grateful to you all. Thank you. Anyway I have a small confession to make(well it IS advent after all!) As I'm sure you know I haven't been very well recently, but have been improving. Well thats true but not entirely 100%correct. The "thing" in my mouth hasn't ben responding to any of the various medication that I have been taking for a million years!(well thats what it feels like) and they have booked me in for a biopsy on Jan 4th. Well on Friday as I was brushing my teeth and having a look(didn't want to but you can never resist) something happened AND IT BURST!!!!!!! Sounds unpleasent(was a bit) BUT GREAT NEWS. Called my long suffering and wonderful DR and had to go straight down. It was an absess after all!! Had some photos taken for medical research(my dr teaches med students), am back on yet more antibiotics, but the hospital has been cancelled. That is such a great Christmas pressie. We have slightly had to change our plans. We were going to help at a dinner for homeless people but due to my immune system needing to recover was advised not too. We have not let anybody down as they were aware of my health. DH is going for two hours(the busiest time)and I am going to my local hospital to help take people to church and generslly get under peoples feet!!!My mum was a nurse and Ive done this on and off for many years. Have boxing day at the animal rescue centre as usual.Honestly thank you all SO much for all your support, help and encouragement. This site has made me a kinder person, far less lonley and for that I can only say thank you. Have a wonderful, peaceful and very happy Chridtmas. You deserve it. All the love in the world, Annie XXXXXXXXXXXX

.Annie - I am absolutely delighted for you, and your husband, all of that pain, made worse by not knowing what it was, is now over and you can concentrate on getting 100% fit. :A:xmassign: Have the BESTEST CHRISTMAS EVER :xmassign:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. Thank you. To be honest I enjoy helping people. Christmas is a great time to reflect on the past year, we have had a few ups and downs but have come through them all. I have ben helping at hospital for ages as my mum was a nurse and evrybody tried to make being in hospital as plasent as it could be. Just what a difference it can make was brought home to me when my mum was an in patient over Christmas. I knew it would be our last Christmas and the fact that a stranger cared enough to give up some time for my mum really touched me. As for the animals well thats not exactly a sacrifice, I get to do litter trays(no change there then!!), walk dogs, clean pens, play with cats AND......FEED AND GROOM THE PONIES(yeah!!!how fantastic is that!!!) Also it gives folks with children a chance to be with them. Tonight I am ringing my uncle James in N.Z. and I am very excited about that. Have a fab Christmas and fel guilty about NOTHING.
