can I freeze Brie?

I bought some Brie for 34p ( was 1.79) can I freeze it?

    I'd suggest testing it first. Cut a little off and freeze for 48 hours+, then defrost, see if you are OK with any differences if there are any. I asked my mum who loves the stuff and she just looked at me as though I'd told her I eat small children for breakfast and kittens for lunch!

    If it is reduced then it may have started going soft, so it may crystallize the liquid. Personally, I would leave it in the fridge, it will get softer and softer, stronger and stronger, it wil turn into the most delicious cheese you have ever tasted. Personally I never eat brie before it is well out of date anyway :)

    Agree with this-I never pay attention to dates on cheese. Just eat it over the next week.

    You can freeze soft cheese like brie but make sure it's ripe first. If it's hard in the middle it will stay that way even when defrosted.

    i wouldn't. it fills with moisture that ruins the whole thing when you defrost
