Oddments galore and tomorrows bargains

Today I did my last bit of food shopping-that is, apart from a last minute bargain hunt that I plan tomorrow afternoon. I shall hit the shops at 3pm to see what is being sold off cheap! With this in mind today, I tidied up my chest freezer and sorted everything out into freezer bags(Iceland ones). I have one at the top of my freezer now which is full of all the opened packets with bits in. I will now use these up inbetween the main meals over Xmas. Also on top, so that I can get at it, is my Xmas veg. I did go to the market the other day though for my cabbage and got 2 whoppers for £1 which made the supermarkets look very mean. I have a nice joint of pork also from the market for tomorrow so that will go a treat with those oddments of veg in the top of the freezer. I do try to be organised but I do admit to finding a few things hidden down the bottom which were no longer edible. Today I was brave and said goodbye to them!
