Hi,
Sorry if I'm being a bit thick & not sure I'm in the right place, but could do with some advice please.
I usually use Firefox. I was happily browsing these forums last night until I came across this message when I tried to get back to the main page...

All other sites seem to be working fine, it's just MSE. I can however get here if I use IE, which is what I am using now.
I've run a couple of anti virus programmes..& only come up with tracking cookies. What is slightly more worrying is that I've tried a system restore...in fact I've tried it 5 times using different restore points, & each time it comes back with error or cannot restore because of corrupt files.
As far as I'm aware I haven't downloaded anything recently.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

If it's the same thing I've had once or twice, then as said, you need to delete the MSE forums cookie.
It's a result of a bug in the forum software if I remember correctly, so it can crop up very occasionally.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks both.
I've deleted the MSE cookie & tried again. It now seems fine.
