I put an orange sim in OH's old ngage which he has just given me,it wouldnt recognise it so I tried to unlock it.Nothing worked so I took the virgin sim out of my old phone and tried that,voila (It was probably not locked in the first place)
Turned out I needed to ring orange to get my sim activated.

Cant be bothered with all that messing about so i now have the ngage with a virgin sim and the old phone with the orange sim.
