Cow & Gate Comfort Formula Milk Stage 2 6m+ £2.87 in Lloyds pharmacy!

Calling all mums!!! Just been to Lloyds Pharmacy and bought out all the formula i could. cow & gate comfort stage 2 for 6m+ has beenr educed to £2.87 but in the second one i went (first one rang up and held the last two for me) it scanned at £1.39. The lovely assistant went in the back to check and came out with another 12 so that's me completely sorted until me lovely daughter starts cows milk. As we get no vouchers this is an immense saving. Marfleet in Hull is the only one i didn't check!!

Also have Cow & Gate food jars at 35p and juice and cereal boxes at £1.18

Lady said it will be in all Lloyds HTH

Comfort only comes in stage 1 and 2 so stage 1 is from birth and stage 2 is from 6 months.

Thank you, just looked at the package and it's definately stage 2 but after speaking to cow and gate today in regards to their stage one (the 3 sealed boxes (12) ended up being stage 1 and as my daughter is 6m+ I wanted to make sure it's ok for her to have.

They said they were surprised to get a call about purchasing stage 2 as they stopped it over a year ago due to finding colic symptoms faded when weaning was introduced. thus canceling out the need for comfort stage 2!

Makes sense why Lloyds has them so cheap.
Also assured that it's fine, the only reason they ceased the line was due to lack of need rather than a problem with the milk.

Woooo... anywho! They had chicken and noodle, fish something and Mediterranean lamb and veg 7m+ jars, i think all at 35p. fruity cereal 4m+ at £1.18 and some juices at 44p.
Also all huggies are £1 but that seems everywhere lately! :p

Did they sell the 3 sealed boxes of stage 1 to you at a reduced price?

Ah would be no good to me! My DD is on Stage 3 Follow on which is from 6 months. I'm still confused about this comfort stage 2 you are all on about though cos on the milk tubs and on the website it shows stage 2 as being from birth, not 6 months?? http://www.cowandgate.co.uk/our_products/baby_milks

**ahh I see on the website about comfort milk now, for colic and constipation, no good to me. Now if they did one that made the nappy contents more solid lol that would help my DD!**

They sold them to me at £1.39 but that was in error as i think she thought the were the same stage 2 as the ones she was scanning. Funny, i even tried to take them back but they refuse to take back baby formula!

That's why i spoke to cow and gate to see if it's ok for my baby to have and they said it's fine as the only difference in stage 1 and others is that the rest have less nutriants as they take into consideration that by 6m+ weaning has commenced and vits e.c.t are gained from solids as well....
