This is my first post so please be gentle!

Was in Mr T's this morning they were just putting out new stock of Gillette Fusion Proglide 3 Blades Inc. Free mini moisturiser & England supporters flag on special offer for £3. These are Olympic supporters pack.

Staff were gathered round saying they had huge delivery so you should find plenty of stock!

Sounds good - have been planning to head out to tesco all day, and haven't made it yet! Will take a look :)
    :DPlease, pretty please!:D
  • Managed to snaffle the last 6 from my tesco in South shields today. Display stand says £5, but when I got to till it went through at £3. Normal price is £8.68 for 3 so massive saving.

I still have a drawerful of the 1-blade Fusion razors that were priced at 95p, but these compare nicely, so I might stock up ;) Apparently they are the new ones which are meant to last longer - 10 shaves each as sharp as the first, if you are to believe the marketing?

That really depends on the size of the chin.

With my strong jawline and jutting cleft chin I rarely get more than 8 sharp shaves. ;)

Hi, do you have a barcode for these? I bought one today and it went through as £5. Perhaps they fixed it overnight?

Thanks for the tip. I bought a few packs and they were priced @ £3 on the shelf and was charged £5 at the till. Returned to customer services and she honoured the price after removing all the sel from the shelves. However she refused DTD on the basis that it did not apply on this promo or something similar. Did not want to argue and accepted the difference. There is no DTD notice at our Tesco and hence could not argue. Is this a company policy or is it left to the whim of the SA? Any thoughts!!

Jayship, give Tesco customer service a phone call (0800 505 5555) and complain. You'll probably get an apology, a gift card and, if you remember the name of the person who served you at CS they might get a telling off :D.

Can I ask, the promo, what's it for? Is it just English flags (red cross, white background) like choirchick says, that's on it or is it a Union Jack (Flag of whole of UK thank you)? I won't bother looking if it's the St George Cross as we never get that stuff up here.

Hi MrsBartolozzi I can confirm it is a union jack flag they are promotion Olympic game packs. There is also a chance to win tickets to the Olympic games. I bought six packs - glad I did as it appears the next day they went up to £5 still a good deal though IMO:j

I went in to the Whitstable Tesco at about 10:30 last night and had the same thing but I did get DTD although I had to ask for it.

SEL said £3, scanned at £5. Went to customer services (which was closed), so stopped an employee who called a manager to process my overcharge. SEL was removed and I was given £2 refund, so I mentioned DTD and was given another £2.

    3 blades for £1, can't complain at that! :D

Jayship, I suggest you do as MrsB says and ring them.
