tesco vouchers

Anyone else had problems with tesco vouchers for pizza express expiring on July 4th? They are refusing to recredit points (citing "terms and conditions"). And of course it is absolutely their right to do so. But from my point of view if the value of these vouchers is going to depend on my memory and organised nature then frankly they are worth less to me than they seem. And these are vouchers with face value £40
I am advised to send them in anyway to Tesco Freetime Ltd - are they any more generous than their customer services dept?
