Cooking a turkey crown this year, but want to do sausages wrapped in bacon. Any idea how long I should cook them for, and do they go into the dish with the turkey ?
Don't know if it makes any difference, but couldn't get cocktail sausages, so had to use ordinary ones.

I've cheated as I got some premade chilled ones for 10p and put them in the freezer, they state on the pack 18-20 minutes @ 220C from fresh but of course yours will be larger. One day I might be more organised...........

Twist the normal sausages in the middle to make 2 smaller ones.
I wouldn't put the sausages in with the turkey as they only take about 30 mins to cook and I wouldn't put the raw sausages in with the almost cooked turkey. Best to cook in an oven dish separately. As the turkey needs to rest for about 30 mins you can put the sausages in the oven when you take the turkey out.0 -
