Have just gone on to this after reccomendations from family who phone Australia daily! Can anyone tell me if the free calls to international mobiles in US include UK registered ones? Sky customer service rep said yes, but I need some reassurance before trying it, to phone my daughter next month when she is there on holiday..
Thanks.0 -

No, you won't get free calls to UK mobiles, doesn't matter that they are in the USA, they are still a UK mobile, so the system is you the caller pay the same rate no mater where the phone is, as why should you worry where they are? The UK mobile owner will have to pick up the costs of the roaming charges when you call them.
You will however get free calls to USA mobiles, as calling a USA mobile is the same as a USA landline, the USA mobile owner picks up the difference in the terminating costs, usually around 15c/min.It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
Thanks BexTech, maybe I will just have to get her to text me the number of the nearest landline. Cheers0

The only problem is that you have to be a Sky Customer get it.
A better bet is Euphony EU Talk 18 which Martin MSE recommends here.(see The Main Provider)
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi...95003038,99872,
It works out cheaper then SkyTalk on average (£4.33p) a month, less then a £1 a week, and as well as Unlimited UK 01/02 landline calls,it includes calls to 28 intl destinations. All you need is a BT landline.0
