Dumb Quidco Question

I have registered with Quidco, but not used it as yet.
I am looking to insure my wifes car. Found a company whos policy price is not the cheapest, but with £120 back on Quidco, it will be by miles. Is it fairly safe to assume that I will get the cash back? Because if not, I will go with one of the cheaper policy price, but no cash back quotes.
Thanks

what do Quidco say about the company in terms of payment reliability? You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky
Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.0 -

Thanks for that. I tried Lloyds and prudential both of who offer £120, but both sites failed to proceed to the end of the quote form stating that there was an error. They worked when I went straight to the site but failed via Quidco. Have you ever come across this?
I think I have almost settled on The Post Office, £22.50 from Quidco + £50 cash back from The PO.0 -
Prudential only offers £100, not £120. I've taken out insurance with them through Quidco and didn't have a problem getting paid.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

We went through Quidco for car insurance with Prudential and it didn't get paid. It's been sent to them as an enquiry but it's not looking good as it was in September. I have seen on here other posters have been paid ok though.
Maybe it will get resolved in the new year.

I can't get the prudential site to work via Quidco. Right at the end of the quotation details screens I get a message saying that 1 error has occurred and I need to phone an 0800 number. The strange thing is, if I go to the Prudential site directly, ie not via Quidco and fill in exactly the same details, the quotation screens work. Very strange.
It is a shame because The Prudential would be the best deal with the £100 back.0 -
We used Prudential for our car insurance and got the free Green Flag breakdown cover and also the £100 cashback.
Busy doing my mum's and dad's now as they are paying £252.00 with Tesco and I can get them insurance from Lloyds for £195.30 or £198.00 from Pru. Both offer £100 cashback!
Just signed them up for Quidco to, so that there are no questions asked and payment goes through with no problems! "Never save something for a special occasion. Every day in your life is a special occasion". _party_0 -
I used quidco for our car insurance but with the AA. No problem at all. Had the cashback as promised.0
