Nails Inc scanning at 1p in Tesco

Tesco are currently offering a 2 pack of nails inc nail polish free when you buy a magazine (glossy celebrity style, can't remember which one though). The gift with purchase is a separate item to the magazine (in my local Tesco, they are on the newspaper stand.)

If you just pick up the box of nail polish it scans at 1p.

(If you do not agree with 'buying' a gwp for 1p then don't do it;))

(Edit - We now think this is a freebie from collecting 3 tokens from NOTW and someTesco's have them behind the counter rather than on display.)

Thing is you are actually supposed to buy 3 news of the worlds to get 3 tokens for the nail varnish packs. I picked mine up today and our local Tesco has these behind the counter so you can only get them if you give them the tokens. Id have been pretty annoyed if today I had gone to pick up my nail varnish, having had to buy NOTW 3 weeks on the trot, and they'd all gone cos people had been getting them for 1p without the tokens!
EDIT; hang on just re-read your post, does the pack actually have news of the world written on it? Or are these being given out with a different magazine? Very strange, cos the pack I picked up today has defo got news of the world written on it, yet colours were pink and orange. If you've just got to buy a mag in store then picking them up for 1p is not so bad.

It's actually a protest against NoW, we don't want poor old nails inc to have to suffer by association so we're liberating them:rotfl:

They sound like the ones the NOTW gave out but as per manda1205 when I got them they were behind the customer services...

It doesn't have NOTW but does have 'Fabulous' on it which is one of the NOTW magazines now you come to mention it. Chances are it's the same deal.

It's a morale decision for you all.
