So does this mean we are safe??0 -
To put some people's minds at rest a bit, there was definitely https in the browser when I paid.
I agree that it's worth being extremely careful with unknown websites, but I don't have a particularly bad feeling about this one. The company has an established Amazon business that has been going at least a couple of years, it's easy enough to see the address of the company and the name of the owner, they appear to be a registered pharmacy, the https thing was definitely there, etc. Seems to me like a totally different kettle of fish to the Evian scam.
I think it's just a very badly designed website! And that the worst that can happen is that our orders may get cancelled. Just my opinion anyway.
Fingers crossed it will all be ok, but personally I'm not too worried at this stage. No Buying Toiletries Challenge since 23/10/2011
OUTs so far: 111 :j0 -
You're never safe with anybody as in any organisations there can be rogues who steal your credit card details etc - online, restaurants, shops, pubs etc.
But the Credit card cos refund you in those circs.
And this Pharmacyplace has ben around a long time and seems legit

Phew! ... Am not offended at all just feel stupid I got so carried away I didn't even check the https!!!!
Looks like they've clocked it so don't know if thats good or bad but actually feels good as in they want to control it and it wasn't just there to entice us in!
Not good for those who missed out if it is a bona fide deal which all goes through fine at that price ... I dunno if it will be cancellation e-mails next though:(
And you are SO RIGHT as in being careful as I would REALLY HATE to lead people to a deal which turns out to be from a scam company!!!
Will report back with what happens next ...0 -
