I think it took me 3 or 4 weeks until my first win - which was a £3 voucher for a slightly strange website. I think I won 3 small things that week - DVDs, CDs, and now this week then nothing for a few weeks and now 3 great wins this week.

I've basically been entering almost everything on here though.

Good work everyone, I'm going to join up too!
I'm also going to include my telephone costs because that's the only reason I have a phone line!
    Rough figure for the moment...
    £324 / won: £0

    Hiya,

I'm new to the comps board and have only just started entering them within the last week. anyways, i want to join the challenge and need to win £216 to cover my broadband and phone for the year.

I have heard that for every 1000 comps you enter you win at least once do you think that's true?

I've never won anything in my life apart from a cardboard box (empty) when i was 6 years old (don't ask) and an amazon e-voucher (£5) for doing a survey which i gave away on the freebies board, so wish me luck!! :D

I entered approx. 1180 comps in March (all online) and have had 4 things delivered so far this week :D

so I'd say the odds are higher if you use MSE :D:D

I think that's probably about right ~ I enter loads, and have won a fair bit.

Welcome. I am a bit confused by the phone line. Do you just use it for internet access?
