good situation need to make right decision HELP

Please help coming to end of 25year term with mortgage made lots of mistake along way 1, endowment 2,variable rate when erm hit,
3 5year fixed at 8%when blair came to power.So each time gone wrong way but have over paid endowment and even thou predicted 5000 short fall I am 13000 in front with 1 year to go new rate just arrived dropped from 209 to 46,I have always paid 500 that is why im in front should I carry on like this for 1 more year and take extra cash at end or pay minimal amount and invest excess if so what in.
Dont have much of apension and am 45 bit fat but reasonably health

As you only have one year to go until endowment pays out you may as well keep it and see what final bonus you get.
Are you filling a cash ISA each year ?
Once you have paid off the mortgage and cashed in the endowment will you have the spare cash to fill the cash ISA,s each and every year!
Good place to start and build up emergency/retirement savings0
