Had an issue today as a SA said that the voucher was a photocopy (it says on the voucher not to accept photocopies), I said it was a print out (black and white) - which it was - totally legit; but they said no!

Do SA's not realise that photocopies can also be done in colour!

Exactly. Ohhhhhh it's black and white, it must be a photocopy.

I guess most trouts are of the age that colour copying didn't exist. No offense to those that print coupons in colour but I'd rather save ink for photos and not coupons so I'll gladly have a stand-up row if trouted on a legit b&w coupon.

The coupon is for the Dove Beauty and not the other dove like people are buying. Yes it will scan against the others, in fact it will scan against anything, but that doesn't mean you use it against anything else.
I hope when yours and others stores stop taking internet coupons because of the misuse you remember posts like this and the dettol one where people are bragging they are using the coupons for the refills when it clearly states for the unit only not refills.
People are thinking of the short term gain only, not the long term use of internet coupons.

AT LAST!!! .. Someone who thinks along the same lines as me AND with the guts to say it!! :D

I've been slated on here many times , verbally abused and called a flipping trout all for having the view of the CORRECT use of vouchers!

If someone on the tills at T or anywhere else STICKS TO THE RULES she is called a trout which conjures up ugly old miserable cows on the tills BUT if it was a HOT & HAPPY YOUNG FIIIINE thing she would STILL be called a trout just for saying NO we don't accept multiple vouchers or whatever the rule is

So FOLLOW THE RULES and you get called a trout , nice! lol

Its for EVERYONES benefit in the end as the misuse has a knock on affect of the vouchers being refused in major stores as YES THEY DO SEND OUT MEMO'S to adhere to and take note of which ends up spoiling it for those who have just come along with their one , or okay , possibly 2 coupons for the item stated on it and them being turned away when the previous others have gone home with 50

Anyway , yes the other Dove thread has been going for a while , and no-ones gonna listen to you anyway as their inate greed takes over and they don't give a **** about the consequences for others or even themselves for the future as long as they get their armful of products NOW!!!!!

I'm going to be in Tesco's tomorrow but not even going to touch the Dove voucher deal as this whole thing has made me feel sick TBH

I got mine in Superdrug for 50p anyway and was happy with that!

You lot have put me off Dove deodorant for life! lol
  • Anyway , if I worked in a Supermarket I wouldn't take any misuse of vouchers so you could call me a trout to my face if you liked .... Just coz someone says ''no'' you have to get abusive???

I don't mean when its a GENUINE bona fide voucher which they have refused & not being misused at all , but WHY are they getting edgy about vouchers now ... and who is spoiling it for all of us?
  • And these so called ''trouts'' you talk about are probably perfectly normal women , just out to make a decent living to support their families and just aren't PUSHOVERS when it comes to customers taking the p*ss out of some deals!

Yes there are some miserable hitler types but if you are ''trying it'' and it doesn't work why do you have to be rude and insulting towards the woman???

I ''tried it'' with the Baileys Hazelnut voucher on the regular Baileys as some were letting them through , then I got this scarey Supervisor come over and ''computer says no'' of course , but I was like ''oh , well'' coz I KNEW I WAS 'TRYING IT' and it didn't work but I still wouldn't insult or be abusive towards the woman , its really not neccesary , especially if you are trying it on anyway and it didn't work eg look at the fuss certain people will kick up if their 48th voucher ISN'T ACCEPTED...

And the ''nice lady'' who puts 12 vouchers through of a different type to the one on the voucher is actually losing money for the company she works for which is not good for team spirit and HO would NOT be pleased!!! ... Oh , but they gotta do it just to keep you happy ( or they get insulted for sticking to the rules!! )

Its ''do what I say & give me what I want or I'll INSULT you'' ... an underhand form of bullying actually )

loooooool believe it or not , there's plenty more where THAT came from ( unfortunately ) but this stuff has been on my mind for quite a while when reading numerous posts about these ''deals'' and I don't always react ( honestly! ) lol but sometimes it just has to be said!!! ;) lol

I don't want to get into the debate about what is or isn't morally right. Just letting people know that the glitch was fixed in Haslingden tesco this morning. The Vouchers would still work on the yellow deodrants so they're still free but they're no longer BOGOF so not giving money off your shopping.
