I saw an ad on tv last night while I was doing the ironing. It was a company claiming that if you had £15000+ debt that if you took out one of their loans you would be debtfree very quickly. I remarked to my husband 'as if' and he said that he had been listening to Radio 4 yesterday and he heard them talking about one of the major finance companies in London. He couldnt remember who it was but he said it was one of those ones that offer the consolidation loans on tv.
He said the staff were getting Christmas bonuses each of between £20,000 and £100,000, that's how much money they're making out of people's misery. He said that their annual staff do cost £6,000 for a ticket. This is downright immoral.

The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best
