ewwww  I've just been wiping down some wooden surfaces (front door, gloss paint, flooring etc) & I've found heaps of slug trails coming ups - they've clearly been having a party in & out of my house
Can anyone give me any advise on anything I can use to clean off these trails they've left behind?
many thanks in advance

Hi boredjellybean,
An old cloth soaked in warm soapy water and some elbow grease usually works for me.

I wonder if perhaps my elbow grease isn't up to much then as when I've gone over it, it just shows up - then again as it dries you can't see it..... yucky little things - I'll be putting down some beer traps for them !!
Am also having to redecorate a wall that they've played all over yuck yuck yuck !!!0 -
If it's really ingrained try one of those foam pot scrub things using the abrasive side. That should do the trick without scratching.

You know they love the damp so you could be as well checking about for any damp patches and large openings that they are using to gain access and then fill with either cement if its on brick work or an expanding foam if its pvc or wood area, check the air bricks below doors as there could be a hole in them to !0

I also had this problem, the dam things were having the run of my living room. The trails come off carpet easy with the hoover but as for the wood work I used soapy water with some salt in it, and that did work. Tried the beer traps even made a nice little ramp for them to take the plunge without having to climb to much, but found out they DO NOT like Boddingtons ( fussy little !!!!!!s ):rotfl:
I only found the slimy little devils when I came downstairs for some water in the middle of the night and yes trod on them nearly waking the street up screamingNever play with your Bellybutton your Bum could fall off.:rotfl:0
