Mortgage Advice Help me please

I have been very foolish and have 2 loans for £25k and £1k, both have 3 years left to run. I have 6 credit cards with £16k on them (spread over 6 cards) and an overdraft of £2k.
I get paid every month and the money just goes on loans and cards. I have no joint finances with my husband he pays the mortgage from his account and he is always in the clear and has no idea of my debt.. It would kill him, us and me.
Our mortgage is now due for renewal and I am the 2nd applicant and have to complete the forms.
What do I do ? I have to declare my debts, I have had my head in the sand and am fully aware of my stupidity. He is a Non Exec Director of a Building Society as well.
Any advice welcome.

You really need to come clean asap. You are right in that you must declare your debts for an application.
It is difficult but in the long run it will be the best thing to do. Dealing with it and arranging a solution is the only way to stop any further problems.

Post a Statement of Affairs on Debt Free Wannabee and get help in getting a solution to your debts. You need to come clean to your husband and will get support on the DFW forum about the best way to go about it. If you have worked out a plan, maybe he'll take it a bit better than if you just present it as a problem.0

What did you spend the money on? Since the total amount isn't too scary I'd fess up and think of the good times I'd had whilst spending it.0
