Provident loan on credit file?

Yesterday i sorted out all my debt and defaults. My partner had paid her provident loan last month. She checked her credit file (as we are getting back on track with things) and she noticed provident was there....but currently showing a 'u' status. I never thought they used credit agencies. But what does that mean?

Im still paying off my provident loan with no trouble but there is nothing showing on my credit file.

Need advice please

U on Experian means the following

The lender cannot give the account a status code for this month. This may be at the start of the credit agreement when the lender is allowing time for the account to be set up, when you are waiting for goods to be delivered, when you have received the goods but payment is not due to start immediately; when there is a dispute over the payments due or the goods received, or when the account is not being used.

U is not adverse. It's mainly used when an account has just been set up and no payment is due for the first month.
