photobox quality control problem

I have ordered a photobook from photobox nearly 3 weeks ago. I have recieved the following email from them

Please accept my apologies for the delay in your order. However, Please be advised that upon our quality control checks the final print did not meet our normal expectations. We have therefore sent the book back in for production in order to achieve the best quality and finish. Unfortunately there seems to have been a further error with this order which has resulted it being on hold I'm afraid.

Has anyone else had similar problems. Are these photobooks worth this hassle. I really wanted to give my mum a present with all my baby pictures but am begininging to wonder if it is worth it

I would never use photobox again after ordering some family photos and recieving somebody elses order. They were apologetic but it made me think, who has been sent pictures of my kids by mistake?

I had the same thing when I ordered from them before when they finally did arrive they were pretty naff, were so dark - nothing like they should have been

I used them last year and had no problem.

I would think twice about using them now though.

You're lucky they stopped it before it got sent. I ordered 2 identical books which arrived with big smudges across about 20 pages of each book. Took a week and a dozen photos of the damage before they stopped blaming me and reprinted them. Had ordered them in plenty of time for father's day, but the replacements arrived about a week too late. I'm still furious about it and won't be ordering from them again.

I ordered a photo book from them (the £26.99 book that you only had to pay delivery on) and was very happy with what I received.

I have had four photobooks so far during the last year and all have been fantastic

They are very good and do the best job of any of the ones I have used. I did have one order go wrong but it was resolved very quickly and easily

I have queried the order and they say one of my pictures didnt upload correctly so I will have another go and see what happens
