DESPITE their appearance on Watchdog they are still supposed to be some of the best straighteners around.
The problem with earlier models was that even when they were switched off, if they were left plugged in they would still warm up(!)
They did say that newer models have a modification to prevent this but their complete refusal to recall and batches or admit to there being a real problem has put me off purchasing from them at all.
What would happen if there was a different issue on newer models? Would they bury their head in the sand again?
I'm afraid that stories like this make me steer more clear of a company than Santa stears clear of naughty children's houses.0
